Robert G. Kretzer, of Jacksonville, FL, and formerly of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on July 4, 2026, at age 77 from pancreatic cancer.

Robert grew up in Hagerstown and graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1966. He served in the Army from 1968 to 1970 and then in the Air National Guard in West Virginia. He later moved to Jacksonville, FL.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Ana Kretzer; his two sons, Jonathan Kretzer and Andrew Kretzer; and his sister, Rebecca (Kretzer) Shepherd. He was predeceased by his parents, Seibert and Angeline Kretzer.

Robert will be remembered fondly by those who knew him. He loved the amateur (ham) radio and taking friends on rides in his Ford Mustang. He was so humble, caring, and loved God. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

 A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, July 24, 2026 at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
