Robert Eugene Owens Jr., age 63, of Saint Johns, Florida, passed away on July 1, 2021 after a brief illness.

Rob was born on September 3, 1957 to Robert Eugene Owens Sr., and Anne Crews in Gastonia, NC.

He graduated from California Coast University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, and more recently from Ultrasound Diagnostics

School with a Specialized Associates Degree in Cardiovascular Ultrasound.

He was a Management Consultant with Servicemaster for 20 years, followed by a 21 year career as a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist.

He is survived by his wife, Mona Owens, of 35 years; son Brandon Owens; mother Anne Crews; sisters Denise Swink and Angela Holder; 4 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a broad group of loving friends. He is predeceased by his father, grandparents, and beloved dog, Tess.

Rob was an avid golfer and fitness enthusiast.  He enjoyed playing an acoustic guitar, hiking, and was a fan of professional sports.

He enjoyed the beach and reading.

A Celebration of Life to honor Rob is being planned.
