Robin Claire Jimerson
Bow
January 19, 1959 – May 27, 2026
Saint Joseph Historic Catholic Church
10:00 - 11:00 am (Eastern time)
It is with deep sadness and much love that we share the passing of Robin Claire Jimerson Bow, who passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on May 27, 2026, in Fruit Cove, Florida.
Robin was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to Jim and Patsy Jimerson. The third of six children, she spent most of her life in the Jacksonville area, where she built lasting friendships and countless cherished memories. On April 9, 1988, she married the love of her life, Charlie Bow. Together they shared 38 wonderful years of marriage, creating a life centered on love, family, and togetherness.
Robin was a loving mother to Shaun (Dawn) Robbins, Courtney (Scott) Nipper, Bob (Jeanine) Bow, and Claire Bow. Nothing brought her more joy than her family, and she was especially proud of her role as “Nanna” to Mason, Oliver, Charlotte, Lyla, and Bobby.
She found happiness near the water, whether relaxing at the beach or spending time on the river. Robin treasured gatherings with family and friends, had a special place in her heart for the many cats she loved throughout her life, and was often seen in her favorite pair of Chuck Taylors. She shared her parents’ love of card games with her children, creating memories around countless tables over the years. She was also known for her remarkable skill at backgammon and never shied away from a friendly challenge.
Robin’s bright smile, contagious laughter, and kind spirit left a lasting impression on those who knew her. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, loved, and cared for, and her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her.
Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
A funeral mass will be held at Saint Joseph Historic Catholic Church, June 11th at 10am. Father David Ruchinski will be presiding.
