Rodney Vance Lancaster passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2026.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, musician, woodcraftsman, and computer professional.

He is survived by his wife, Cherie Jean Goodrick Lancaster; his sons, Marvel Lancaster and his wife, Kristi; Howard Lancaster and his wife, Elizabeth; Larry Lancaster and his wife, Taylor; Samuel Lancaster; and Timothy Lancaster; and his grandchildren, Jorge, Robert, Abigail, Thomas, Shay, and Asher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Lester Lancaster and Alice Marie Adank Lancaster; and by his sisters, Dawn Cupit, Jean Hudson, and Gwen Miller.

Memorial arrangements have not yet been finalized. They will be announced at a later date.
