Ronald “Ronnie” Henry Anderson, 70, of Welaka, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on October 15, 2026.

Born on May 17, 1956, in Charleston, South Carolina, Ronnie was the eleventh child born to Edith Googe Anderson and Cecil E. Anderson Sr.

Ronnie accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior on September 20, 2026, and was baptized on October 5, 2026 — a meaningful testament of faith in the final weeks of his life.

For more than 30 years, Ronnie was the proud Owner/Operator of St. Johns Dock Builders, based in Palatka, Florida, a business he built and ran alongside his beloved wife, Cathy.

Ronnie's passions in life were many — he loved his wife and family deeply, and found joy in boating, hunting, and helping others whenever he could. He had a special love for his dogs, especially his golden retrievers and his last living companion, 23-year-old Boogie, who now resides with his sister Patricia.

Ronnie was predeceased by his wife, Cathy (Farmer) Anderson; his parents, Edith and Cecil Anderson Sr.; and two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his four stepchildren, Kenny, Carey, Penny, and Little Cathy; his three sisters, Carole Hodge (Henry), Beautiful Jean Anderson, and Patricia Davidson (Bill); his two brothers, William Anderson (Billy) and Bobby Anderson (Sonya); along with many loving nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Ronnie will be remembered for his generous spirit, his hard work, his devotion to his family, and his deep love for the outdoors and his animal companions. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and kindness that will continue through all who knew him.
