Sandra Lee Olsen nee Smith, age 84, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2021 in Jacksonville, FL.  She was loved by her family and friends.  Aside from spending time with her family, she was a superb cook and enjoyed traveling and reading, as well as glass painting.  In her last few months, after getting her van, she was able to enjoy going out to eat frequently which was another pastime she enjoyed.  She was loved and will be greatly missed by her 2 children, Becky J. Olson and Tony F. Olson; daughter-in-law, Cynthia L. Rose; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, David A. Olson and her sister, Vurlyn McCabe (Smith).  A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date.  If so desired, in lieu of flowers we are requesting donations to Community Hospice.
