Sean Patrick Landin, 23, of Orange Park, Florida passed away September 8, 2026.

He was born to Jammie and Amy Landin on June 5, 2003, in Honolulu, Hawaii and has an older brother, Jacob Landin. Sean graduated from Oakleaf High School in 2021. He worked at Chick-Fil-A in Oakleaf Plantation for seven years and was a member of their leadership team. Sean had just started as a truck driver for Cypress Truck Lines in Jacksonville, Florida.

Sean loved sports, playing drums, video games and being with those he loved. He was passionate about Kansas State Wildcats football and the Indianapolis Colts. He loved trivia nights with his Chicken Chums at Mr. Chubby’s wings on Monday nights. Sean will be remembered for his compassion, his loyalty, his kind heart, and his willingness to help anyone. Sean leaves a model of how to live life that if we all just tried to follow, the world would be a better place. Sean was the kind of person that would show up for anything for you without hesitation, whether it was being a running partner with his mom, a birthday party, or as simple as someone to talk to. No matter what may happen throughout his day, he would go out of his way to make you feel like the most important person in the world.

Sean is survived by his parents, Jammie and Amy Landin, his brother Jacob Landin, his grandparents James and Cheryl Landin, and William and Elaine Gaughan, his aunts and uncles, Doug and Lesley Gaughan, Brad and Leslie Gaughan, Jenifer Neal, his cousins Ainsley, Ashlyn, Anniston Gaughan, Hannah and William Neal, Clodagh, Teagan, Oisín, and Méabh Gaughan.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Sean’s name to the Make a Wish Foundation at https://wish.org.

A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
