Sybil Quackenbush Vearil, 85, of Jacksonville, FL passed away April 6, 2019 in Jacksonville, FL.

She was born in Reading, OH on July 10, 1933 to the late Russel and Josie Quackenbush (Case).

Sybil will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and is known far and wide for her homemade tacos and peanut butter pie.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Walter, Bud Quackenbush and Jack Quackenbush.

Sybil is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Raymond; children, Wayne Vearil (Sandy), Gina Axley (David) and Carol Gorman (Felix); grandchildren, Matthew Vearil, Tiffany Deckerhoff, Sasha Thornton (Justin), Hannah Estes and six great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 12, 2019 at Christ Church Jacksonville Anglican, 9917 103 ^rd Street, Jacksonville, FL 32210.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to NE Florida Community Hospice or the American Lung Association.
