Tracy Lynn Head (née Espie), born on January 9, 1965, in Lansing, Michigan, passed away on July 26, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was 60 years old.

Tracy’s life was marked by her deep love for family, her passion for caregiving, and her enduring connection to the water. She is lovingly remembered by her life partner, Jeffrey Waters; her two sons, Cody Curtis and Robert Head; her daughter, Chelsea Curtis; her brother, Steve Espie; niece SeanLee Espie; granddaughter Rosalie Head; and grandson Isaiah Johnson. She was preceded in death by her father Douglas Espie; mother Jeannie Brewer; husband Richard Head; and stepsons Steven and Scott Head.

Born and raised in Michigan, Tracy developed a lifelong affection for the water. It became a place of joy and serenity for her— a favorite destination where she often enjoyed water skiing. Her love for the water extended beyond the many lakes she spent time at in Michigan to the beaches that surrounded her when she moved to Florida.

Tracy found great fulfillment working in the medical field. Caring for others came naturally to her, and she embraced every opportunity to help those in need with compassion and dedication. Her nurturing spirit extended into all areas of her life whether through acts of service or simply being present for those around her.

She had a vibrant personality that shone through in everything she did. Tracy delighted in couponing and keeping things tidy— finding satisfaction in organization and order. Music was another source of joy for her, especially the sounds of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, whose songs often filled the spaces she occupied. In her later years, she grew fond of gardening and was working hard at perfecting her green thumb.

Above all else, she cherished time spent with family. Whether gathered at home or enjoying a day at the beach, these moments were at the heart of what mattered most to her.

May Tracy's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
