Violet Swinsburg, 93, of St Johns, Fl (formerly a resident of The Villas at Spanish Oaks, Ocala, Fl) passed away on March 1, 2026, at Baptist South Hospital under Community Hospice Care with her family by her side.

Violet was born to Rose and Cyrus Shearer on May 16, 1932, in Moria, Pa. She was raised in Hazleton, Pa and later married and moved to NJ.

She retired from Somerset Savings and Loan in Bound Brook, NJ. She was a devout Christian and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Ocala, Fl. She was energetic and always on the go and loved to read, do word puzzles, play bingo, attend church and enjoyed family time. She will especially be remembered for always helping others and persevering in life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roland Swinsburg, Sr. and son Roland Swinsburg, Jr.

She is survived by daughters Ruth Czoch of St Johns, Fl & Lynn Poniatowski of Bath, Pa, grandchildren Melissa Czoch, Kristen Bonanno & Daniele Regetz, and great-grandchildren Brieana Bailey, Robert Camacho, Frank Czoch and Sebastian Regetz.

A burial service was held on March 16, 2026, at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala, Fl.
